Staff were friendly & very helpful & personable so we're management although some took a bit of warming up but considering they had numerous staff as a whole they were great. Beds were really comfortable housekeeping were very helpful & sweet. The baby barramundi must have been premature though it tasted good for the 3 minutes that it took to eat it from The Pantry restaurant. .Room had a comfy-for-one, smallish couch, decent size tv & comfortable large twin beds with quality bedding. Lots of power points throughout the room and was grateful to be able to take a bath (shower over bath older style hotel bathrooms but larger than most.

I only stayed for one night. Everything was excellent. Fast check in. Helpfull staff. I was a little winded upon arrival so the lady at the counter gave me a glass of water to drink while she was doing my check in. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is near central station and shopping area. If you are arriving from central station on foot and with bags there is a short part of the street with a little incline and a narrow sidewalk that can give you trouble. Did not have breakfast in hotel so this I can not rate.

The beds were comfy and clean, and the bathroom was clean. It was a shower/bath combo, and it did have quite a high tub, which could be an issue for older people or people with mobility issues. The location was great, and there was a train station only a short walk from the hotel. I also liked that the room had a card energy saving switch, so I didn't have to worry about turning off the lights and aircon before leaving the room. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

My twin room was large, clean, with a nice couch with the table at the large glass window, just like the photos depict it. The hotel is currently under-going some reconstruction, which I was notified in time. There was no warm water in the bedroom, the staff reacted in seconds and it turns out one needs to let the water flow for a few minutes (due to current constructions).

Wonderful long stay! Perfect large room with daily housekeeping. Staff were very helpful and it was in a quiet and peaceful location. Room was very modern and spacious and had a bathtub and a sofa included. Rooftop pool was incredible and the gym reopened while we stayed there. We were not impacted by the construction work. One of the best places we stayed in Australia.
